Superintendent's Corner
As we are finally expecting a stretch of warmer weather, greens were fertilized the last week of April. Tees and fairways will be fertilized in the coming weeks. Tees, fairways, and rough are still a little thin in some areas due to the variety of different grasses breaking dormancy at different times. We will be aerifying the golf course on Monday, May 5th. We will be pulling cores, and the greens should be healed up in 7 to 10 days. This is a necessary evil that will give us good quality greens for the peak of the golf season.
Just a couple friendly reminders, please;
· Rake and place bunker rakes in traps after use.
· Keep pull carts off of the tees and greens.
· Keep golf carts out of roped off areas.
· Repair ball marks and replace divots.
Thank you!

Tip of Month with Mike Farrell, PGA
The first golf tip is about your grip
The more you turn both hands right on the grip
The more your chances are not to slice
Or hit straight shots…
