Superintendent's Corner

In the coming weeks, we will be doing an aeration of all greens, which will include topdressing and overseeding to continue to encourage growth and a smooth playing surface.  Aeration is frustrating to play through, but its a necessary evil to get the course playing and looking at how we all want it to. On top of the aeration of the greens, we will continue to work on, and feed, the tees and fairways.

As our crew works tirelessly, our focus will remain on consistent, measured growth and a detail-oriented work ethic. We greatly appreciate your support, positive attitude, and patience. We can have what I think will be our best fall playing conditions in over a decade!

As a reminder, please repair ball marks on greens and replace any divots when possible.

If anyone you see isn’t behaving or following all our rules, please let someone on the staff know. Protecting our product takes a village.

Thank you.

Golf Course Superintendent

Tip of Month with Mike Farrell, PGA

If you watch any of the greatest ball strikers there’s no lower body movement on the back swing…no hip turn

Lee Trevino is a great example
